YOU DEFINE YOU.

Becoming Her

Women's Mental Health Support · Built Different

You don't have to be falling apart to know you don't feel like yourself.

Maybe you're still working. Still showing up. Still looking after everyone. Still laughing with your friends and doing all the things that make your life look completely fine from the outside.

But underneath it? You're more anxious. More exhausted. More easily overwhelmed. Things that never used to bother you suddenly feel heavy. Or maybe you can't even explain what's changed. You just know you don't quite feel like you anymore.

Becoming Her gives you somewhere private to understand what's going on beneath the surface, and practical tools to start working through it in your own time, without waiting until things get worse.

Because you don't need to reach breaking point before how you feel matters.

What This Solves

For the space between "I'm fine" and "I can't do this anymore."

Struggling doesn't always look like struggling. Sometimes it looks like going to work. Getting everyone where they need to be. Answering the messages. Seeing your friends. Doing everything you're supposed to be doing while feeling nothing like yourself.

And because you're still functioning, you keep going. Becoming Her is a private place to stop, understand what you've been experiencing and start recognising the patterns, beliefs and pressures that may be affecting how you feel.

Clarity first Understand what's happening beneath the surface, rather than only dealing with it once everything feels too much.
Practical tools Structured exercises you can actually use in real life, not another list of things you "should" be doing.
Built around real life Work through it privately, at your own pace, without adding another huge commitment to an already full life.

Foundations

Before you can change something, it helps to understand it.

Becoming Her doesn't throw a library of content at you and leave you to figure out where to start. The Foundations guide you through the process step by step, helping you understand your patterns, experiences and what may be sitting underneath the way you've been feeling.

Why Steven Built This

There was always another woman at the heart of You Define You. My wife.

I'm Steven Jackson. I'm an accredited life coach, founder of You Define You, a father of three, and I lost my wife to suicide.

When you lose someone you love that way, you spend a lot of time looking backwards. At the conversations you had. The ones you didn't. The things you wish you'd understood. The moments that perhaps meant more than you realised at the time.

I wish she was still here. I wish she could see our children growing up. I wish our children still had their mum. I can't change any of that. I can't give my children their mum back. But I can decide what I do with what happened to our family. And that's a huge part of why I built You Define You.

Originally, we built it for men, because I knew how difficult men can find it to talk about what they're going through. How easy it is to say "I'm fine" and carry on. But there was always another part of this story. Because women can keep going too. They can work. Raise children. Laugh with friends. Look after everybody else. Be the woman everyone assumes is okay because she's always the woman who is okay. Until she isn't.

I don't want another woman to believe she has to reach that point before how she feels matters. And I never want another family to experience what ours has. That's why we built Becoming Her.

I wish we lived in a world where nobody needed it. We don't. So we're going to make damn sure it exists.

Plans

Start where you are.

You don't need to have the right words. You don't need to know exactly what's wrong. And you don't need to wait until things get worse. Choose the level of support that feels right for where you are now.

Every plan gives you access to Becoming Her, the Foundations and the tools designed to help you understand yourself and start moving forward, privately, at your own pace and from your own phone.

You matter before crisis.

Becoming Her isn't therapy or a crisis service, and it isn't designed to replace professional mental-health care when you need it. It's somewhere to begin. To understand yourself. To recognise what's been changing. To work through what you're experiencing. And to remind yourself that you don't have to wait until you're falling apart before you start paying attention to how you feel.
